Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Guidry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Bringeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guidry comes into the arena with Du Hast blaring out of the sound system. Ronnie Guidry has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bringeland throws an overhand right that lands on Guidry's shoulder, as Guidry tries to avoid the shot.

Bringeland closes the distance and clinches.
Guidry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bringeland lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Guidry goes for a takedown attempt but Bringeland pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Guidry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bringeland swivels and escapes.

Guidry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Guidry is working for a guillotine from mount but Bringeland frees his head quite easily.
Bringeland's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Guidry is going olschool here, as he tries to force Bringeland to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bringeland shrugs it off.
Bringeland is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Guidry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Guidry throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bringeland has his hands clasped together but Guidry breaks the hold and Bringeland is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Guidry!
