The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Ferretti moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Halilovic dodges the punch combination from Ferretti.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferretti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Halilovic lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
