Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Dunstable!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Ehlers!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dunstable clinches up with Ehlers and pushes him back against the cage.
Dunstable lands a good knee to the midsection. Ehlers won't want to take too many of those.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Dunstable.
Dunstable lands a nice elbow.
Dunstable lands a nice elbow.
Ehlers jumps guard but Dunstable stands there with Ehlers around his waist. Ehlers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ehlers has had enough of the clinch but Dunstable keeps him there for the moment.
Dunstable scores with a knee to the head.
Dunstable throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Dunstable keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ehlers's efforts to push away.

Ehlers manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Dunstable tries to free his leg and advance position but Ehlers is retaining full guard.

Ehlers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dunstable doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dunstable manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ehlers looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dunstable has picked Ehlers up and slammed him! Ehlers can't keep hold of the triangle and Dunstable manages to pass to side control!

A lull in the action here as Dunstable stalls from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ehlers tries to bench press Dunstable off him but Dunstable keeps the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dunstable controls the position from side control.
Dunstable's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dunstable taking a break here but Ehlers is having none of it and regains half guard.
Dunstable knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ehlers on the ground.
Dunstable is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ehlers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Dunstable takes the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dunstable comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Dunstable lands an elbow that stopped Ehlers in his tracks for a moment.
Dunstable tries to land knees in the clinch but Ehlers avoids the damage to the body.
Nice elbow from Dunstable.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Ehlers is trying to pull guard but Dunstable has him pressed against the cage.
Dunstable lands a knee to the head.
Dunstable lands an elbow inside.
Ehlers takes an elbow to the forehead.

Ehlers is rocked!
Dunstable keeps control of Ehlers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ehlers is still on wobbly legs! Can Dunstable finish him?
Ehlers blocks an elbow strike.
Dunstable has Ehlers pressed against the cage. He pushes Ehlers back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Dunstable throws a beautiful elbow that sends Ehlers crashing to the floor! Dunstable piles on the pressure with more strikes! Ehlers is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dick Dunstable!
After winning the bout, Dick Dunstable thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
