Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sendo Tackashei (ranked 2505 p4p, 25992 weight class) and Super Takyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sendo Tackashei has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sendo Tackashei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Super Takyan! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tackashei throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Takyan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Tackashei tries to clinch up. Tackashei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takyan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Takyan steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Tackashei has managed to clinch.
Takyan gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tackashei tries to get to full guard but Takyan has control of the leg. Tackashei preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tackashei avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Takyan.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Tackashei scoring with strikes to the body and head. Tackashei seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Takyan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tackashei. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tackashei is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Takyan is just riding it out for now. Tackashei eventually gives up the hold. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tackashei perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Takyan is fending him off so far but Tackashei persists. Nope, Takyan circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tackashei misses with a wild body shot. Tackashei tries to clinch but Takyan is having none of it.
Takyan feints and as Tackashei raises his hands in defense, Takyan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tackashei pulls guard effortlessly. Tackashei is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tackashei throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Takyan wants to control from the top but Tackashei keeps moving. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Tackashei is trying to control the position but Takyan postures up.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tackashei tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Takyan finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Sendo Tackashei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tackashei is looking to reverse the position. Tackashei struggling a bit here. Tackashei tries to buck Takyan off but Takyan is having none of it. Tackashei is trying to control Takyan's posture but Takyan avoids it. Sendo Tackashei overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Takyan wants to control but Tackashei is keeping him busy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. You can see the frustration on Tackashei's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Tackashei tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Takyan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Takyan steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Tackashei fails to land the takedown.
Takyan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tackashei is trying to defend but Takyan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tackashei is looking to control Takyan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tackashei avoid being mounted? And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Super Takyan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Tackashei clinches.
Tackashei pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tackashei swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Takyan counters with a nice body kick. Tackashei tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takyan swivels and escapes. Takyan flicks out a counter leg kick but Tackashei steps away. Tackashei tries to clinch up but Takyan circles away and keeps his distance. Horrible takedown attempt by Tackashei or perhaps it was just good defense by Takyan, which made it look bad. Sendo Tackashei is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tackashei moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Tackashei tries to score a power double leg takedown but Takyan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tackashei somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sendo Tackashei. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tackashei tries to clinch but Takyan moves away and Takyan counters with a good, hard body kick but Tackashei shrugs it off. Tackashei fails to land the takedown. Takyan steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Tackashei throws a right hand that Takyan ducks under and follows up with a left that Takyan also avoids with ease.
Takyan gets a takedown into half guard. Tackashei wants to control but Takyan is keeping busy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Takyan slows the pace down in half guard. Tackashei looks like he's trying to stand up.
Takyan is looking to advance position but Tackashei won't allow it. Takyan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tackashei is pressing down on Takyan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Takyan wants to control from the top but Tackashei keeps moving. Takyan postures up.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Tackashei closes this distance looking for a takedown but Takyan circles away. Takyan is trying to counter with his kicks.
Tackashei forces Takyan back against the cage and clinches.
Tackashei ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tackashei no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tackashei is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Takyan defends well. Tackashei keeping moving, preventing Takyan from controlling successfully.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Tackashei is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Takyan postures up in Tackashei's guard and throws a big left but Tackashei blocks it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tackashei looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sendo Tackashei. I think Tackashei has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
