Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Nyla!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyla avoids the body shot from Benedetti.
Nice defenses there by Nyla.
Benedetti throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Benedetti looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nyla! But no joy.
Nyla gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round but I would say that Rafael Benedetti will probably get the nod.

Benedetti went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

It seemed like Nyla was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Benedetti gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Nyla gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
