Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Cavendish (ranked 3032 p4p, 3150 weight class) and Chandler Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Elliot Cavendish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chandler Walker!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavendish's jab looks to have found its range, popping Walker under the eye.
Walker is looking to clinch but Cavendish is avoiding it.
Cavendish feinted with a counter takedown.
Cavendish leaves Walker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cavendish connects with a right hand. Walker shakes it off.
Cavendish with the inside leg kick.
Cavendish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walker manages to avoid it.
Walker misses with a two punch combination.
Walker shoots for a double leg takedown but Cavendish sprawls well. He's pushed Walker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cavendish avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Walker tries to clinch but Cavendish moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cavendish misses with the body kick
and Walker counters with a shoot takedown. Cavendish fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cavendish wants to stand up but Walker is controlling him.
Walker controls from within his opponent's guard.

Cavendish pushes Walker off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Cavendish feints a jab promting Walker to slip. Cavendish then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Walker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cavendish throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Walker takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cavendish fails to land with a series of punches.
Walker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cavendish avoids it really well and circles away.
Elliot Cavendish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chandler Walker.

Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Walker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cavendish but Cavendish pushes him off and we're back to square one.
As Walker backs away, Cavendish returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Chandler Walker has been cut.
Walker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cavendish will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Walker takes the fight into the clinch.
Walker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cavendish is defending well.

Walker with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cavendish lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Walker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cavendish swivels and escapes.
Cavendish dips to his left and cracks Walker with an uppercut!

Cavendish lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Walker is defended easily by Cavendish.
Cavendish lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

and Cavendish counters with a nice uppercut.
Walker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cavendish moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cavendish.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Walker misses with a jab to the body
and Cavendish counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Walker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cavendish's guard.

Cavendish wants to get back to his feet but Walker is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cavendish.
Nice body punch from Cavendish.

Walker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cavendish pushes Walker off but Walker dives into side control.
Chandler Walker has got the better of the ground game so far.
Walker just content to control the position.

Cavendish is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Walker asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Walker is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Walker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cavendish as he jumps to the side.

Walker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cavendish is trying to defend but Walker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cavendish connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Walker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cavendish circles away.

That's time! Cavendish's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
No joy there for Walker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It appears Cavendish was looking to counter with a kick there.
Walker needs to keep his hands up - Cavendish had a free shot at his head there.
Cavendish wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Walker is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cavendish.
Walker is rocked!
Cavendish Throws a clean left jab. Cavendish Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Walker's chin! Walker crumbles to the ground and Cavendish follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Cavendish!
