This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 5 losses; Sparbot One! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
One shoots in and gets a takedown into Swayde's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Swayde (0) vs (2) One One wants to control from the top but Swayde keeps moving. One trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. One being controlled here momentarily. One looking to sit in guard and control but Swayde gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Swayde (2) vs (2) One Swayde definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. One is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Swayde is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swayde passes One's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Swayde looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Swayde looking to break One's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. One remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Swayde will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! One rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

One content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Swayde has locked up a guillotine! Swayde's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? One is holding on here and Swayde must be using up a lot of energy. One has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Swayde gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
