Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Kornilov (ranked 3937 p4p, 25919 weight class) and Best Chess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Best Chess is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslan Kornilov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Best Chess! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kornilov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chess napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kornilov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Chess can't do much from the bottom here. Kornilov trying to control the position but Chess is working away. Chess really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kornilov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kornilov throws a strike aimed at the side of Chess's head but Chess avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kornilov working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kornilov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chess avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kornilov.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Kornilov is working to tighten his grip on Chess's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Chess has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kornilov is really squeezing tight and eventually Chess passes out! Kornilov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ruslan Kornilov! A relieved looking Ruslan Kornilov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
