Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicklas Akerman (ranked 3246 p4p, 4653 weight class) and Micheal Toney (ranked 326 p4p, 392 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicklas Akerman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Micheal Toney! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toney is looking to clinch. Crunch! Toney slams his shin into Akerman's torso. Akerman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Akerman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Akerman is figuring out what he wants to do next. Akerman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Toney for as long as he can get away with. Toney pushes Akerman off looking to stand but Akerman dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Akerman performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Akerman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Toney is just riding it out for now. Akerman eventually gives up the hold. Akerman stops Toney from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Akerman frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Akerman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Akerman fails to advance to Toney's back. Akerman controlling the pace for now. Akerman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Toney is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Akerman moves to the back position. Toney is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Akerman off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Toney is trying to get back to his feet but Akerman has full control of the position and if anything, Toney has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Toney is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Akerman gets his way!
Akerman is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Toney is defending well though. Akerman let's go of the attempt for now. Akerman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Toney trying to get back to his feet but Akerman is in full control for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Akerman working for a choke but Toney is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Nicklas Akerman dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Akerman shoots for a double leg takedown but Toney sprawls well. He's pushed Akerman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Toney tries to clinch but Akerman is having none of it.
Akerman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Toney! Toney tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Toney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Akerman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Akerman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Toney can do to turn this around? Akerman controlling his opponent. Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nicklas Akerman! Nicklas Akerman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
