Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kaique Veltran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ash Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Kaique Veltran has been cut.
Veltran ducks under a wild hook from Stevenson.
Veltran throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stevenson was covering up waiting for the punch and Veltran finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Veltran drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stevenson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stevenson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stevenson!

Stevenson wants to control but Veltran is keeping him busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Veltran is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Stevenson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Veltran has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Stevenson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Veltran doesn't care though - he's delighted!
