The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bits ducks under a wild hook from Leaf.
Bits throws a poor cross that misses
and Bits takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Some wild striking there from Leaf.
Bits connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bits scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Tim Bits seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leaf slips a straight right by Bits.
Leaf checks the leg kick nicely there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bits feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Leafs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A big right from Leaf misses.
Leaf looks to land a left hand but Bits moved out of range nicely.
That kick from Bits tenderised Leaf's leg. Leaf is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bits works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Leaf keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Leaf ducks under a wild hook from Bits.
Bits dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bits moves out of range of the strikes.
Bits misses with a hook
and Leaf counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leaf misses with a body shot.
Leaf takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bits throws a hook but Leaf blocks it.
Bits looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Jay Leaf has been cut.
Leaf rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bits counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A combination from Leaf does no damage.
Bits tests Leaf's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Leaf is rocked!
Leaf loses concentration momentarily and Bits pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Leaf crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Bits finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
