Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Huffer shoots in for a takedown but John shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

John can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Huffer controls the pace. Huffer wants to control from the top but John keeps moving. Huffer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. John swivels though and keeps the full guard. Huffer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Huffer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down John for as long as he can get away with.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Huffer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans.
