Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Griffin (ranked 3402 p4p, 2844 weight class) and Talon Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Talon Braun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Talon Braun! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braun cracks Griffin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Griffin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Braun finish him?
 It looks like Stephen Griffin has been cut. Griffin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Braun connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Griffin scrambles back to his feet.
 Griffin is rocked! Griffin slips under a jab from Braun. Griffin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Braun misses with a straight left. Griffin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Griffin on the wrong end of a nice jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Braun throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Braun drops Griffin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Griffin looks back up at him and smiles so Braun waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Griffin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A shot to the liver by Braun. Beautiful body shot. Griffin seems to have got his legs back now. Griffin moves away from the strike by Braun. It looked like Griffin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Braun misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Griffin.
Griffin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Griffin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Braun throws a right hand that misses
and Griffin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Griffin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Braun being controlled here, momentarily. Griffin wants to control from the top but Braun keeps moving.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Braun is looking to stand up but Griffin isn't so interested in that idea. Griffin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Braun is not content to let Griffin control the position. Griffin moves into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Griffin controlling the position easily from mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Griffin tries to control but Braun wriggling away.
Griffin wants to finish this one by submission but Braun is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Griffin. Braun is looking to improve his position but Griffin isn't that keen on the idea.
Griffin looking to secure an arm triangle but Braun defends it well. Braun's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Griffin throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Griffin trying to control but Braun is having none of it.
Griffin looking to secure an arm triangle but Braun defends it well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Talon Braun dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stephen Griffin's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Griffin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Talon Braun seems to be getting the better of the standup. Braun throws a hook but Griffin avoids it easily. Braun throws a hook but Griffin blocks it.
Braun lands a big uppercut and Griffin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Griffin looks OK. Braun waves Griffin back to his feet!
 Stephen Griffin's cut is getting worse. Braun misses with an uppercut
and Griffin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Griffin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Braun bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Griffin's head. Griffin drops his hands momentarily. Braun doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Griffin staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Griffin doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Talon Braun!
