Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Case Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Howard The Coward!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack fails to land with a series of punches.
The Coward lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
No joy there for The Coward, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mack looks to land a combination but The Coward avoids it well.
The Coward rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mack moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mack half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
The Coward throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Case Mack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Coward fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mack.
The Coward ducks right into an uppercut from Mack.

It looks like Howard The Coward has been cut.

The Coward unleashes a big counter combination but Mack bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Mack takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mack throws a sloppy head kick and The Coward moves out of range easily.
Mack darts in looking for a takedown but The Coward gets double underhooks and turns Mack into the cage.
A nice side step and The Coward releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

The Coward has Mack pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. The Coward pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mack tumbling to the mat - The Coward dives into Mack's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Coward controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The Coward trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The Coward seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mack is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Coward is aware though and is defending well.

Mack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

I would just about give that final round to Howard The Coward.
Well The Coward has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
