And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 100 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Onigawa shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion feints and as Onigawa raises his hands in defense, Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Onigawa is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Salvacion has his hands clasped together but Onigawa extends and breaks Salvacion's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Onigawa.
