Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jamison Ritter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jan Roberson!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberson dives in and grabs Ritter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ritter pushes down on Roberson's head and hops out.
Ritter digs a good body shot into Roberson's ribs.
Roberson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ritter.
Ritter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Roberson tries for a takedown but Ritter circles away easily
and Ritter counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Jan Roberson has been cut.
Roberson has a takedown stuffed.
A little feinted left hand from Ritter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jamison Ritter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Roberson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberson fails with the takedown.
An attempted straight right counter from Ritter misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ritter throws a body punch but Roberson moves out of range.
Roberson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ritter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jamison Ritter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roberson is defended easily by Ritter.
Roberson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ritter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ritter keeping moving, preventing Roberson from controlling successfully.
Ritter seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Roberson wants to control from the top but Ritter keeps moving.
