Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phoenix Mcfarland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silvio Costa! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcfarland ducks under a wild hook from Costa. Costa misses with a low kick as Mcfarland jumps back.
Costa has Mcfarland up against the cage in a clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mcfarland just misses with a elbow thrown towards Costa's brow.
Costa pulls Mcfarland into guard.
Costa wants to sweep but no luck. Costa pulls Mcfarland in close to prevent any damage. Costa lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
 We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcfarland looking to control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Costa stays in close to Mcfarland's body and controls the position.
Costa stands and steps away. Mcfarland gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. We've been hearing reports that Mcfarland has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Mcfarland ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Costa avoids the head kick by Mcfarland.
Costa throws a push kick but Mcfarland slaps the foot to one side. Mcfarland wants to clinch.
Mcfarland has managed to clinch.
Costa looking for a takedown.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcfarland prevents a takedown attempt there.
Costa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mcfarland clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Costa slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Mcfarland tries to roll but Costa sticks to his back.
Mcfarland might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. What can Mcfarland do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Mcfarland is trying to defend against the choke here but Costa has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Costa Tightens the hold and Mcfarland taps out furiously! Costa displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
