The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodard punishes Acuna's body with a nice straight punch.
Woodard throws a combination. Acuna tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oooooh!!! Woodard has knocked Acuna down with a huge combo! Woodard steps away and waves a wobbly Acuna back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Acuna is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Acuna fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Oh Acuna is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Woodard lands a left and a right that send Acuna crashing to the mat, dazed. Woodard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Woodard working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Woodard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Acuna ducks right into an uppercut from Woodard.
Marc Acuna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Acuna tries for a takedown but Woodard circles away easily
and Woodard counters with a crisp right that sends Acuna to the canvas! Woodard follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
