Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hamdy Abdelwahab!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abraham Clayton!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdelwahab bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Abdelwahab decides to stand back up. Abdelwahab steps back and let's Clayton get back to his feet.
Abdelwahab has Clayton up against the cage in a clinch.
Abdelwahab slows down the pace here.
Abdelwahab goes for a takedown in the clinch but Clayton prevents it.
Abdelwahab breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abdelwahab gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Abdelwahab blocks an uppercut.
Abdelwahab manages to break the clinch.

Abdelwahab throws a sloppy head kick and Clayton moves out of range easily.
Abdelwahab avoids a punch combination nicely.
Clayton looks to score with a jab to the body but Abdelwahab is just out of range.
The fighters circling - Clayton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Clayton misses the jab.
Clayton clobbers Abdelwahab with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Hamdy Abdelwahab has been cut.
Abdelwahab takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Clayton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Abdelwahab throws a quick counter head kick but Clayton was just out of range.
Clayton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Abdelwahab.
Clayton gets tackled into the cage by Abdelwahab. Abdelwahab maintains the clinch.
Abdelwahab turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Clayton is trying to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clayton can do anything to dispel that myth.
Abdelwahab has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Abdelwahab looking to score a takedown here. Clayton is defending well but Abdelwahab drives through and ends up in Clayton's guard.
Abdelwahab stops Clayton from standing up.
Abdelwahab engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Abdelwahab's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Abdelwahab might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Abdelwahab stands up and waves to Clayton to follow him.
Abdelwahab closes the distance and clinches.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Clayton throws a punch but it's blocked by Abdelwahab.
Abdelwahab jumps guard.
Clayton wants to stand but Abdelwahab has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Abdelwahab has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Clayton should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Abdelwahab has tightened it up now! Clayton should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
