Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Esteban Weaver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phoenix Mcfarland! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weaver looks to clinch
and Mcfarland counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Mcfarland throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mcfarland prevents Weaver from improving his position. Mcfarland controlling the action here. Weaver is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weaver is trying to control but can't.
Weaver tries to roll over but Mcfarland keeps him under control. Mcfarland wants to free his trapped foot but Weaver is holding on for dear life with his legs.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Weaver wants to sweep but Mcfarland has passed to side control! Weaver is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mcfarland has just dragged him back down to the mat. Mcfarland wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weaver keeps working. Weaver trying to control but Mcfarland flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Weaver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcfarland on the ground. Weaver covering up well under a barage of strikes. Weaver covering up well and avoiding damage. Weaver is in bad spot here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Mcfarland misses with an elbow to the head. Mcfarland is not going to allow Weaver to sit and survive in this position.

Mcfarland has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Weaver has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
