The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamanes fails with a takedown attempt.
Watson seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Zamanes takes the fight into the clinch.
Zamanes lands a hook that snaps the head of Watson backwards.
Zamanes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Zamanes lands with a left to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watson jumps guard but Zamanes stands there with Watson around his waist. Watson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Watson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Zamanes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Watson.
Watson tries to pull guard but Zamanes forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Watson scores with a big shot! Zamanes's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Zamanes! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
