Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ness (ranked 2177 p4p, 3362 weight class) and Uriel Gallegos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ness comes to the cage accompanied by Cocaine. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ness! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Uriel Gallegos! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ness closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ness lands in his opponent's guard. Ness lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gallegos is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ness seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ness is looking to work some ground and pound but Gallegos has wrist control. Gallegos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ness. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gallegos wants to stand up but Ness is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ness postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ness's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ness content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Ness engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Ness seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gallegos for as long as he can get away with. Ness stands and throws Gallegos's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ness definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ness just content to control the position. Gallegos taking a bit of punishment here - Ness scoring with strikes. Gallegos is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ness connects with a decent elbow. Ness landing strikes.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Ness cracks Gallegos with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Ness immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Gallegos is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Ness!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Ness! An out of breath Rick Ness thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
