And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 42 wins and 23 losses; Sergey Makarov! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Makarov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marston sprawls well. Marston wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Makarov gets slowly back to his feet. Makarov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marston circles away. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Makarov is trying to control the action in half guard but Marston is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Marston is looking to control Makarov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Marston avoid being mounted? Marston is looking to improve his position.
