The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita scores with a nice head shot.
Mesquita lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Mesquita darts in looking for a takedown but Kinkead gets double underhooks and turns Mesquita into the cage.

Mesquita looks to score with a jab to the body but Kinkead is just out of range.
Mesquita lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mesquita wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mesquita is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kinkead knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kinkead has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Kinkead tries to lock up and control but Mesquita gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mesquita lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kinkead hang on?
Kinkead is rocked!
Mesquita postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Kinkead bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Mesquita and the fight is over!
