Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Pena (ranked 1950 p4p, 3830 weight class) and Adonis Maxwell (ranked 217 p4p, 377 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luciano Pena!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adonis Maxwell!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pena defends it nicely.
Maxwell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Maxwell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pena might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Maxwell tries to free his leg and advance position but Pena is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maxwell is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Maxwell postures up and lands a big shot to Pena's brow.

Pena wants to sweep but no luck.
Maxwell slips nicely into half guard.
Maxwell is trying to control. Pena wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Pena looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maxwell is one step ahead there.
Maxwell wants to control from the top but Pena keeps moving.
Maxwell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Maxwell looking to sit in guard and control but Pena gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Maxwell is trying to control the position but Pena postures up.
Maxwell keeping moving, preventing Pena from controlling successfully.
Pena works over Maxwell with some ground and pound from guard.

Maxwell throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Maxwell is looking to sweep but instead, Pena has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pena looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Maxwell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pena is working away from the top position though.
Pena prevents Maxwell from improving his position.
We've been hearing that Pena has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Maxwell on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Pena working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Maxwell is looking to control Pena's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Maxwell avoid being mounted?

Adonis Maxwell's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Adonis Maxwell's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

During a confident post fight interview, Luciano Pena thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
