Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Marvin Hagler (ranked 24080 p4p, 2969 weight class) and Sam Canasta (ranked 456 p4p, 318 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canasta throws a body shot but no joy.
Sam Canasta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick from Canasta, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hagler throws a hook but Canasta avoids it easily.

Canasta has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hagler is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Canasta's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Hagler uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Canasta has time to react.

Canasta is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Hagler doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Canasta crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Canasta's bad books for that mishap!
