The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miele tries to clinch but Gray is having none of it.

Miele takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Miele forces Gray back against the cage and clinches.

Miele is trying to drag Gray to the mat but Gray just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Miele seems to have recovered his senses.

Gray lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Gray punishes Miele's body with a nice straight punch.

Gray swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Miele.
We've been told by Gray's head coaches at Copes that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gray scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Miele doesn't seem bothered though.
Miele walks into a stiff left hand from Gray.
Gray fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gray throws out a powerful jab.
BOOM! Gray lands a beautiful left hook that drops Miele. Miele tries to recover but Gray is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Miele lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
