Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lenn Meritt!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meritt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stone on his heels. He'll look to pass Stone's guard now, I'm sure.
Meritt postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it.
Meritt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Meritt from controlling successfully.
Meritt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Meritt throws a big right hand that misses.
Meritt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Meritt stands and throws Stone's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meritt throws an elbow but Stone slips to the side and avoids it well.
Stone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stone tries to get out of the position.
Meritt is looking to take a break and control but Stone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Meritt in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Meritt is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stone's shoulder. That is not cool.
Meritt tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Meritt has an Americana. Stone didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Meritt is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Meritt hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
