Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Rinderknecht (ranked 1849 p4p, 3385 weight class) and King James (ranked 219 p4p, 326 weight class). Rinderknecht comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Me The Horizon - Can You Feel My Heart. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as King James enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Rinderknecht! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King James! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rinderknecht fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rinderknecht feints a jab promting James to slip. Rinderknecht then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. James slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. James lands a jab to the nose. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! James dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rinderknecht. That did some damage! Rinderknecht shoots in for a takedown but James shows good takedown defense. James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rinderknecht moves away. Rinderknecht fails with an attempt to clinch.

We've been hearing good reports from Rinderknecht's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Rinderknecht's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. James wants to get back to his feet.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and James wants it to stay on the feet. James is trying to counter with his kicks. We've been informed that James has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. James takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Rinderknecht misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from James.
James stuffs the takedown attempt from Rinderknecht. Rinderknecht gets slowly back to his feet. Rinderknecht tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but James swivels and escapes. James avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And James responds with a good body kick, but Rinderknecht manages to step out the way in time. James thows a leg kick but Rinderknecht checks it and Rinderknecht cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rinderknecht crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from James - the referee stops the clock and Rinderknecht gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says James. Rinderknecht manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. James blocks a jab. James tries to score with a low kick but Rinderknecht moves his leg out of the way. James lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. James throws a leg kick which misses Rinderknecht's front leg but catches the back leg as Rinderknecht tries to avoid it. James throws a head kick that misses.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by James. This has been an exciting period of action! Rinderknecht takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Rinderknecht is looking to clinch but James is avoiding it.
James walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. James throws a jab when Rinderknecht was well out of range. A slow jab from James misses its intended target. James misses with a wild body shot. Rinderknecht feinted with a counter takedown. Rinderknecht misses with a two punch combination.

King James seems to be getting the better of the standup. James tried to score with a low kick but Rinderknecht checks it. An inside leg kick lands from James. James connects with a solid leg kick. Rinderknecht ducks down and throws a hook to the body. James throws a leg kick that misses. James fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rinderknecht. Rinderknecht takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. King James is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. James scores with a kick to the midsection. Decent striking displayed by James there. The crowd cheers as Rinderknecht lands an impressive looking overhand right. James doesn't seem phased though. This has been an exciting period of action! Rinderknecht cracks James with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. James looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. James tried to score with a low kick but Rinderknecht checks it. Rinderknecht throws a series of punches but James moves out of range. Rinderknecht misses with a few strikes there.
Rinderknecht swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rinderknecht takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Rinderknecht with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling James to score with a decent uppercut. James slips a jab and a cross from Rinderknecht.

Rinderknecht drops down looking for a counter takedown but James sprawls and moves away. Nice body kick there by James. James connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rinderknecht throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. James tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rinderknecht is in James's guard. James tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
King James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

James defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rinderknecht. Rinderknecht avoids the attempt from James to control. Rinderknecht controlling his opponent. Rinderknecht has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Rinderknecht has hold of James's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and James manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
James is looking to get to half guard. Rinderknecht takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rinderknecht pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
