Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gonner Poli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Super Takyan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takyan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Poli's half guard.
Poli controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Poli tries to get to full guard but Takyan has control of the leg.
Poli actively working from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poli regains full guard. Nicely done.

Takyan won't allow Poli to sweep him here.
Poli manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Takyan manages to get himself to full guard.
Poli is stalling in the full guard.
Poli gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Poli drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Takyan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Poli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Poli is trying to get an arm triangle but Takyan is defending well.

Poli tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Poli scores with a couple of short elbows.

Takyan seems a little lost for a moment, as Poli dominates the positioning.
Poli seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Takyan for as long as he can get away with.
Takyan parries the strikes from Poli easily there. Poli is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Takyan to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Poli controlling the position.
Poli looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Takyan is avoiding damage well.
Poli working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poli is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Takyan has escaped the position, nice work there.
Poli decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Poli drives through with a takedown into Takyan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Poli's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Poli closes the distance and clinches.
Poli goes for a takedown attempt but Takyan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Poli shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Poli seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Takyan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
