The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
President leaves Qwerty with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Qwerty closes this distance looking for a takedown but President circles away.
President connects with a good right hand that stumbles Qwerty. Qwerty circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

As Qwerty looks to move away, President throws a big counter combo but Qwerty just gets out of the way.
El President has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Qwerty.
Qwerty goes for a double leg but President avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as President continues to drive forward.
Phil Qwerty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
