The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heeta throws a body shot but no joy.
Lamez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lamez looks to land a right hand but Heeta moved out of range.
Heeta shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Heeta showed some decent athleticism there.
Heeta content to control rather than advance.
Lamez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Heeta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lamez wants to control but Heeta is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Heeta is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lamez has managed to free his arm - good work.
Heeta perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Heeta's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Lamez is looking to control Heeta's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lamez avoid being mounted?
Heeta is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Heeta seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lamez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
