Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Adams (ranked 4080 p4p, 4014 weight class) and Raiden Cordova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nicholas Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raiden Cordova! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams pushes Cordova up against the cage in a clinch. Cordova has Adams pushed against the cage. Adams tries to score a body lock takedown but Cordova shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Adams is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cordova is defending well. Adams is looking to break free of the clinch but Cordova has double underhooks.
Adams drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cordova gets to his feet. Adams looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Adams fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adams rushes Cordova and presses him up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cordova working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Adams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cordova managing to control the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Adams wants to control from the top but Cordova keeps moving. Cordova controlling the position. Cordova keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully. Cordova has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cordova keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully. Cordova is trying to control the position but Adams postures up. Cordova looking for a sweep. Not yet Cordova, not yet. Adams with a nice head shot there. Adams passes Cordova's left leg - he's now in half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cordova tries to get to full guard but Adams has control of the leg. Adams is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Adams is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Adams closes the distance and clinches up with Cordova, looking for a takedown. Adams pushes Cordova against the cage but Cordova circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Adams gets caught flat footed, as Cordova shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Adams is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cordova dives into side control.

Cordova stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Cordova gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Adams is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cordova is defending well.
Adams gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Cordova manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Adams is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Adams wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cordova breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Adams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cordova pinned against the cage. Cordova gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Raiden Cordova dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adams is defended easily by Cordova.
Cordova manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Adams on his heels. He'll look to pass Adams's guard now, I'm sure. Cordova is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Adams is working an open guard so Cordova takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Adams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Adams goes for a double leg but Cordova avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cordova continues to drive forward. Cordova throws a counter combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cordova wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Adams has him pressed against the cage. Cordova tries to pull guard but Adams won't allow it.
Adams trying to control the position but instead, Cordova has worked for underhooks and has pushed Adams into the cage. Cordova jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Adams walks away with a smile on his face. Cordova gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Adams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adams tries to sprawl but Cordova drives through with a takedown into half guard. Cordova takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Adams is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Adams is trying to stand up here but Cordova is controlling him well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cordova looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Adams tries to roll over but Cordova keeps him under control.
Cordova seems to be working for a kimura but Adams defends the submission attempt. Adams trying to hold on to Cordova's head to control him but Cordova postures up.
Cordova has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cordova controlling the action here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams pushes Cordova off looking to stand but Cordova dives back in and keeps control.
Cordova seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Cordova perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Cordova stands up out of the half guard.
Cordova moves into the clinch successfully.

Nicholas Adams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Adams wants to clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams fails with a takedown attempt.
Adams is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cordova's half guard. Cordova is controlling Adams's trapped leg to prevent Adams from advancing to side control. Adams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cordova keeps working. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Raiden Cordova showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Adams gets tackled into the cage by Cordova. Cordova maintains the clinch. Adams lands a shot to the body. Adams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cordova pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice takedown defense from Cordova. No joy for Adams on that attempt. Cordova wants to clinch. Cordova tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cordova will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Cordova moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off. Adams looks for a takedown but Cordova sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adams fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. No luck for Adams with that takedown attempt. Cordova throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Adams wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Cordova throws an overhand right that lands on Adams's shoulder, as Adams tries to avoid the shot. A nice leg kick from Adams, right into the meat of the thigh.
Adams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Adams has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cordova is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Adams.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cordova lands an elbow. Cordova works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Cordova staying calm. Cordova tries to move into full mount but can't pass Adams's legs.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cordova working the head and body with strikes. Adams trying to control but Cordova flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Adams is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Cordova keeps control of the position easily here as Adams tries to buck him off.

Raiden Cordova is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cordova looking to break Adams's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Adams remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Cordova will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
And that's the end of the fight! Raiden Cordova comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cordova has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
