Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Ball (ranked 4117 p4p, 3953 weight class) and Marty Rainey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marty Rainey is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Ball! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marty Rainey! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ball misses with a body shot.
Ball drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rainey tries to bench press Ball off him but Ball keeps the position.
Ball looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rainey is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ball trying to control the action but Rainey is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rainey tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ball tries to score with some ground and pound. Rainey controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. You can see the frustration on Rainey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rainey is looking for a sweep. Ball moves into full mount!
Ball looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ball trying to control but Rainey is having none of it. Rainey sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Rainey trying to hold on to Ball's head to control him but Ball postures up.
Rainey wants to improve his position but Ball is controlling well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ball is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ball thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ball tries to stand but as he's on his way up, Rainey locks on to a trailing arm. Oh, he's locked on a tight looking armbar - Ball could be in trouble here! Yes, he's tapped! This one is all over!
