The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yasotaro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yasotaro connects with a single shot there.
O Daire swings widly with a right hand
and Yasotaro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Yasotaro scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The fighters circling - O Daire throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Yasotaro lands with an uppercut that bounces O Daire off the cage and back into range.

The crowd cheers as Yasotaro lands an impressive looking overhand right. O Daire doesn't seem phased though.

O Daire moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Yasotaro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but O Daire manages to avoid it.
O Daire drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Yasotaro defends it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

O Daire tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Yasotaro lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as O Daire backs up against the cage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yasotaro, as that shot connected.
Kido Yasotaro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yasotaro cracks O Daire with an open hand slap.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kido Yasotaro dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Yasotaro uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before O Daire has time to react.

and O Daire decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yasotaro's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yasotaro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for O Daire on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Daire wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yasotaro keeps working.

O Daire is staying tight to Yasotaro's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
O Daire trying to control the action but Yasotaro is working from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
O Daire has hold of Yasotaro's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yasotaro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - O Daire cranks the arm and Yasotaro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yasotaro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Fergus O Daire!
