Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beaux Copper (ranked 25158 p4p, 4010 weight class) and Bradyn Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradyn Gonzales has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Beaux Copper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradyn Gonzales! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gonzales was covering up waiting for the punch and Copper finishes the takedown easily into guard. Copper not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Copper works over Gonzales with some ground and pound from guard. Copper stands up over Gonzales, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gonzales is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonzales tries to strike from the bottom.
Copper seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Copper landing some decent shots from guard.

Gonzales striking off his back but it's not causing Copper any problems. Copper postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gonzales looking to control.
Gonzales is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Copper with a nice head shot there. We've been hearing good reports from Copper's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Copper keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gonzales's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Copper is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Copper postures up and lands a big shot to Gonzales's brow.
 Gonzales is rocked!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Copper lands a couple of digs. Gonzales is still in real trouble! Can Copper finish him? Copper cracks Gonzales with a solid left hand. Copper arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Gonzales's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Beaux Copper!
