The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter lands with an overhand left.
Nice straight punches there by Hunter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hunter.
Bubbles has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Temple of Fitness in the buildup to the fight.
Hunter thuds his right hand into Bubbles's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bubbles ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hunter throws out a powerful jab.
Good exchange - Bubbles coming out on top.
Bubbles throws a hook to the side of Hunter's head but Hunter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hunter swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bubbles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunter looks to land a right hand but Bubbles moved out of range.
Bubbles lands a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hunter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bubbles.
Bubbles moves away from the strike by Hunter.
Hunter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bubbles eats them both and turns towards Hunter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hunter looks to land a left hand but Bubbles moved out of range nicely.
Bubbles throws a nice looking combination but Hunter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hunter throws a right and a left that Bubbles avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hunter throws a hook but Bubbles avoids it easily.
Bubbles bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hunter's head backwards.
Roy Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter moves out of range as Bubbles strikes.
Bubbles lands a jab-cross combination.
Hunter throws an off balance right hand
and Bubbles counters with a straight that turns Hunter's legs to rubber! Bubbles pushes forward with more strikes and Hunter goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
