Vasquez is looking for a triangle here but Scully uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Scully manages to capitalize on a mistake by Vasquez to take his back!
Scully has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Vasquez's body.

Scully's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
I really don't envy Vasquez right now.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

A lazy left from Vasquez finds it's target.
Vasquez cracks Scully with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Scully tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Vasquez pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Scully is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
