Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yuri Brida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Erik Chaves!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaves avoids the head kick by Brida.
Nice shot lands for Chaves.
Chaves stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brida.
Brida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chaves moves out of range as Brida strikes.
Chaves with a jab.
Chaves throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chaves moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Brida lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Chaves takes a kick to the side of the head.
Chaves lands a slapping body shot.

Chaves throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brida tries to land a leg kick but Chaves saw it coming and moves away.
Brida scores with a head kick. Chaves tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Chaves lands with a cross.
Brida misses with a head kick.
Chaves comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brida buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brida throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chaves throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chaves paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brida bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brida takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Brida throws a leg kick but Chaves sees it coming and moves out of range.
Chaves should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Chaves tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brida was well out of range. Poor timing from Chaves.
Chaves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brida moves away.
Brida feinted with a counter takedown.
Brida throws a shot from downtown. Chaves moves away and avoids it.
Brida avoids the body shot from Chaves.
Brida changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Chaves connects with a nice looking jab.
Brida steps in with a hook that catches Chaves right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Brida follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Chaves looks absolutely devastated.
