Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tin Williams (ranked 3526 p4p, 24772 weight class) and Deandre Velez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cannonball. Deandre Velez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tin Williams's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tin Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Deandre Velez! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Velez to the mat! Velez manages to get full guard. Velez wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it. Williams sitting in guard here, content to control. Williams sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Velez's guard.
Williams is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Velez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Williams. Williams wants to pass to mount but Velez is defending the position. Williams is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Velez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Velez is trying to stand up here but Williams is controlling him well.

Williams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Velez is just riding it out for now. Williams eventually gives up the hold.
