Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Direcus Subb (ranked 2590 p4p, 5418 weight class) and Damian Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Direcus Subb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Lamb!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Subb takes the fight into the clinch.
Lamb drags the fight down to the ground.
Lamb wants to get back to his feet but Subb is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Subb is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lamb keeping full guard, as Subb tries to pass.
Subb slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lamb is trying to escape the position but Subb is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Subb tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Lamb being controlled for a moment.

Subb tries to move to mount but Lamb blocks the move with his legs.
Subb is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lamb will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Subb has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Subb looking to control but Lamb is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Subb looking to control and managing it successfully.
Subb continues to stall.
Lamb tries to control the position but Subb now has his back.
Subb is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Subb just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Subb controls the position.

Lamb is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Subb is not going to allow Lamb to sit and survive in this position.
Subb just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
