Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walay Buut (ranked 23428 p4p, 23146 weight class) and Higanti Libat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 76 - 63 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 59 - 80 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nice takedown defense from Buut. No joy for Libat on that attempt. It looked like Buut was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Libat. Buut fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Libat avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buut closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Libat quickly recovers to half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Libat keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Libat is looking to improve his position.
Libat preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Buut is figuring out what he wants to do next.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Libat tries to get to full guard but Buut has control of the leg. Buut controlling the pace. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Libat keeping control of the position.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Libat sprawls well. Libat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Buut gets slowly back to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut shoots in looking for a takedown. Libat tries to sprawl out of it but Buut keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Libat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walay Buut. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Libat drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Libat misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut controls the position for a moment. Buut has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Libat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Buut is fending him off so far but Libat persists. Nope, Buut circles away and we're back to standing. Buut feinted with a counter takedown. Libat slaps away a takedown attempt from Buut, before circling back to the center of the mat. A countering left hand to the body from Libat misses. Buut stuffs the takedown attempt from Libat. Libat gets slowly back to his feet. It appears Buut was looking to counter with a kick there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Libat pinned against the cage. Libat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Libat is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Libat leaves Buut with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walay Buut. That's going to take a lot out of him. Libat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Buut is fending him off so far but Libat persists. Nope, Buut circles away and we're back to standing.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buut. Libat steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Libat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buut. Libat replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buut blocks it well. Buut closes the distance and clinches up with Libat, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes Libat against the cage but Libat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Libat is trying to counter with his kicks. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut with a lazy takedown attempt and Libat counters with a nice body kick. Libat goes for a double leg but Buut avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buut continues to drive forward. Libat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buut. Libat replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buut blocks it well.
Libat closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Libat lands in his opponent's guard. Buut is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Libat dives into side control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut wants to control but Libat postures up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Libat just content to control the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buut moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromLibat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walay Buut. That's going to take a lot out of him.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nice sprawl there from Libat as Buut shoots in.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut is being controlled here. Libat trying to control the action but Buut is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Libat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
