The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buttawipo throws a series of punches but Brawler avoids them all with ease.
Brawler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jerry Brawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buttawipo throws a head kick that Brawler semi-blocks.
Buttawipo looks to land a combination but Brawler avoids it well.
A combination from Buttawipo does no damage.
Brawler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buttawipo sprawls well. Buttawipo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brawler gets slowly back to his feet.

Brawler tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Buttawipo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Brawler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buttawipo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Buttawipo clinches up with Brawler and pushes him back against the cage.

Brawler shoots in looking for a takedown. Buttawipo tries to sprawl out of it but Brawler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buttawipo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Brawler goes for a double leg but Buttawipo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buttawipo continues to drive forward.
Buttawipo misses with the head strike.
Brawler tries to pull guard but Buttawipo won't allow it.
Brawler is breathing heavily.
Buttawipo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brawler tries to land a front kick but Buttawipo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Brawler dodges the punch combination from Buttawipo.
Brawler shoots in looking for a takedown but Buttawipo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brawler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Brawler parries the strikes from Buttawipo easily there. Buttawipo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brawler to escape.
Buttawipo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Buttawipo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Buttawipo swats away the attempt to clinch by Brawler.

Brawler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buttawipo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Buttawipo unleashes a big counter combination but Brawler bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Buttawipo drops Brawler with a beautiful combination! Brawler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Buttawipo is looking for the KO!

Buttawipo forces Brawler back against the cage and clinches.
Buttawipo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Buttawipo manages to break the clinch.
Brawler moves to clinch but Buttawipo breaks away
and Buttawipo counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Brawler! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Buttawipo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joey Buttawipo!
After the fight, Joey Buttawipo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
