Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antonio Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rivera shoots in for a takedown but Conner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Conner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rivera on the side of the head.
Rivera tries for a takedown but Conner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Conner seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Conner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Conner wants it to stay on the feet.

Rivera postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rivera is pushing down on Conner's leg trying to pass to half guard. Conner is fighting to maintain full guard but Rivera has managed to sneak the leg through.
Conner is trying to escape back to his feet but Rivera uses the scramble to pass into side control.
