The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cordova looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cordova pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cordova misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cordova throws a series of punches but Ramos moves out of range.
Cordova closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cordova holds on and takes a little breather.
