Tanaka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nunes's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nunes can't keep his opponent in guard - Tanaka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Tanaka has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nunes defend it? Tanaka steps over the head and cranks it - Nunes is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tanaka!
