Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Enuardo James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Top Basketball!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a poor cross that misses
and Basketball counters with a solid body kick.
Good standup being displayed there by James as he connects with a hook.
Basketball walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Basketball shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Basketball takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
James scores with a sloppy right hand. Basketball should have avoided that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James works Basketball's body with a nice hook.
James sizes up Basketball with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
James scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

A nice inside leg kick there by James. That's going to slow Basketball down.
James misses with a leg kick.
Basketball throws a big counter head kick but James avoids it with no problem.
A looping hook to the body misses from James. Basketball does a little dance to reset his feet.
James lands an overhand right.
James works Basketball's body with a nice hook.
Basketball shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has James pinned against the cage. James gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
James feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Enuardo James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James lands with a cross.
James connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Basketball has his takedown stuffed
letting James counter with a right hand.

James moves into range and clinches up with Basketball.

Basketball walks into a jab.
James cracks Basketball with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Basketball tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but James swivels and escapes.
James feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Basketball takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Basketball walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Basketball with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling James to score with a decent uppercut.

Basketball tries to keep at a distance but James has taken the fight into the clinch.
James lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Basketball.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

James fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Basketball is out of range.

James fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Basketball looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Basketball tries to move into range but James moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Basketball walks into a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Basketball gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Basketball is rocked!
Basketball keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Basketball follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Enuardo James is winning the standup battle so far.
A decent looking cross lands there for James.
Basketball is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?

Basketball avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Basketball follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Basketball seems to have recovered his senses.
James is looking to chop away at Basketball's legs.
Basketball throws a big counter head kick but James avoids it with no problem.
A punch lands to the side of Basketball 's head but he takes it in his stride.
James uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Basketball can do to turn this around?
James lands with a nice combination. Basketball backs away looking to recover.

James fails to land with a series of punches.
Basketball follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
James scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
James lands with a cross.
Basketball is trying desperately to land a takedown but James is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Basketball.
James thumps Basketball with a low kick.
James is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
James jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from James lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Basketball has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Basketball and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Basketball replies with a solid counter kick to the body but James blocks it well.
Jab, jab by James - just one landing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

James throws a combination. Basketball tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
James attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Basketball steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Basketball blocks a low kick nicely.

James moves into the clinch.

James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Basketball has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Basketball takes one to the chin there.

Basketball takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
James feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Basketballs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Basketball shoots and misses
and James counters with a stiff right hand.
Basketball takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
James slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Good shot there by James.
Nice uppercut lands for James. That snapped Basketball's head back.
James connects with a crisp jab.
James lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

James lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by James.
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Basketball.

James swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Basketball.
Enuardo James is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

James connects with a nice looking jab.
James's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and James duly obliges.
Basketball takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
James scores with a punch to the head.
James scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Basketball doesn't seem bothered though.
James connects with a single shot there.
James lands with a nice body punch.

Basketball takes one to the chin there.
Enuardo James is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
James cracks a nice hook into Basketball's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
