Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leake Baum (ranked 3982 p4p, 2893 weight class) and Abubakar Gadzhiyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abubakar Gadzhiyev!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Gadzhiyev with that takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gadzhiyev.

Gadzhiyev closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Baum to the mat! Baum manages to get full guard.
Gadzhiyev is working Baum over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Baum wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gadzhiyev manages to pass to side control.
Gadzhiyev lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
