This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 7 losses; Mr Pervitin! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 12 losses; Ben Lauzon! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Lauzon dives in for a single leg takedown but Pervitin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lauzon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pervitin wants to control but Lauzon is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Lauzon seems content to control. Pervitin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pervitin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lauzon manages to get himself to full guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Lauzon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lauzon keeping full guard, as Pervitin tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pervitin controls from within his opponent's guard. Pervitin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Pervitin wants to pass the guard but Lauzon is keeping the position. Pervitin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pervitin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Pervitin slips nicely into half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lauzon trying to control but Pervitin postures up.
Lauzon wants to get back to full guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pervitin in particular looking to stall. Lauzon moves into full guard.
Lauzon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pervitin controls the pace.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Pervitin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lauzon for as long as he can get away with. Pervitin wants to pass the guard but Lauzon is keeping the position. Lauzon is trying to keep Pervitin in close.
Pervitin won't allow Lauzon to sweep him here. Pervitin controlling from the top position. Pervitin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lauzon wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Pervitin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Pervitin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lauzon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pervitin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Pervitin is looking to pass into half guard but Lauzon pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lauzon is in guard.  That's eight minutes gone in the round. Pervitin is pushing down on Lauzon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lauzon is fighting to maintain full guard but Pervitin has managed to sneak the leg through. Pervitin is controlling the pace.

 That's nine minutes gone in the round. This is a sustained period of stalling by Pervitin. Lauzon keeping full guard, as Pervitin tries to pass. Pervitin stopping the sweep attempt from Lauzon. Pervitin looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Pervitin forces his way into half guard. Lauzon tries to roll over but Pervitin keeps him under control. Lauzon looks winded! Pervitin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Lauzon has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
 That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Lauzon won't allow Pervitin to pass to mount. Pervitin controlling the action here.
 That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Further stalling from Pervitin. Pervitin trying to mount his opponent but Lauzon defends it. Pervitin content to control rather than advance. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Pervitin is stinking the place up with his stalling. Pervitin continues to hold on tight.
 That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Lauzon trying to control from the bottom.
Pervitin is looking to advance position but Lauzon won't allow it. Pervitin keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pervitin working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Lauzon's thigh. Lauzon counters though and makes it back to full guard. Pervitin trying to control the position from guard on top but Lauzon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Pervitin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've been hearing that Pervitin has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Pervitin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
