Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 23419 p4p, 23190 weight class) and Kugus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 59 - 73 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 69 - 63 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Salvacion on his heels. He'll look to pass Salvacion's guard now, I'm sure.
Amiga stands up from Salvacion's guard - Amiga perhaps looking for a knockout. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Amiga decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Salvacion's guard. Amiga showing good wrestling skills to control the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Salvacion holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Salvacion is pulling down on Amiga's head. It's preventing any offense from Amiga, at least for the moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Salvacion continues to stall. Amiga content to stall in guard here. Salvacion has control of Amiga's left arm, preventing Amiga from doing any damage. Amiga trying to control the position from guard on top but Salvacion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Amiga is defended easily by Salvacion. Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Amiga closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Salvacion to the mat! Salvacion manages to get full guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Amiga controls the pace. Amiga's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion pulls Amiga in to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Amiga but Amiga pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amiga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Salvacion is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Amiga will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Amiga for as long as he can get away with. Salvacion is looking to take a break and control but Amiga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Amiga tries to buck Salvacion off but Salvacion is having none of it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Amiga wants to control but Salvacion postures up.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Salvacion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Salvacion leaves Amiga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helen Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Amiga. Amiga happy to just control the position for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion can't do much from the bottom here. Amiga is staying tight to Salvacion's torso, preventing him from escaping. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion wants to control but Amiga postures up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Amiga's waist but Amiga gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side. Amiga steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Salvacion fails with the takedown. Amiga replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well. Amiga fails to land the takedown.
 That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard. Amiga is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Salvacion is looking to control Amiga's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salvacion avoid being mounted? Amiga has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is holding on to half guard well. Salvacion trying to control from the bottom.

 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Salvacion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Amiga wants to control but Salvacion is keeping busy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Amiga avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Salvacion. Kugus Amiga has got the better of the ground game so far. Salvacion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Helen Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kugus Amiga is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Kugus Amiga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Amiga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
